I've been amazed at how everyone is interfacing to Google Earth, a great program.

It would be great if MultiPing could output a GE .kmz that would show the location and status of a location over a Google Earth Map in real time. We would see our end points and their health on the map. Maybe Red/Yellow/Green with an option for PL% next to the icon.

Add in weather maps and live radar from the National Weather Service and I bet you could even figure out why your site is bouncing. I know this would require a lot more information to be entered in MP, but it would be worth it.

Or better yet, let me import my .kmz of all our 70 fire stations and let me associate each one with a line in MP.

Thanks

Sounds interesting - like a good "play" project for a slow day here at the office (and, as you might expect, slow days don't happen too often). Google Earth does kick much booty, though, so maybe I'll see what I can do <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

If you have an example apps you've seen that do something similar, it'd be interesting to see them.
