Going back to a version of PingPlotter your maintenance covers

Question

I tried a new version of PingPlotter but I'm not ready to renew. How do I downgrade to a version of PingPlotter covered by my maintenance?

Solution

You can step back to the most recent version your license still covers and keep using PingPlotter without interruption.
  1. Download the installer for your eligible versions by logging into your account or entering your license key on this page.
  2. Uninstall PingPlotter
    1. Windows: Open Settings › Add/Remove Programs › find PingPlotter and click Modify. When the uninstaller asks whether to remove your license and your settings and data, leave those unchecked.
    2. Mac: Open Finder › Applications › Drag PingPlotter to the trash can.
  3. Run the installer.

Renewing later

If you change your mind, renewing is always available, and it's always priced as an upgrade on what you already own rather than a fresh start. Renewing sooner costs less than later, but later still costs less than buying new. Here's how it works.
