PingPlotter Tabs on macOS

Question

When I open targets from my summary page in PingPlotter Pro on macOS this opens a ton of new windows, is there a way to group these into tabs on a single window?

Solution

Yes, You can enable tabs inside PingPlotter on macOS! To do this you’ll first want to configure macOS to Prefer tabs when opening documents:
  • System Preferences -> Desktop & Dock -> Windows & Apps Section -> Prefer tabs when opening documents.
  • Older macOS: System Preferences -> General -> Prefer Tabs

Note: This is a universal setting and could affect other applications on your Mac.

Then, you'll want to go into PingPlotter and enable Tabs:

  • View --> Show Tab Bar.

After making these changes, if you select multiple targets in summary, right-click, and select "Show x target windows" it should look something like this:

One thing to note is that targets and summaries will always be separate windows, with tabs available for each.

This change should help free up some precious screen real estate and keep things even more organized!
